Career Assessment Program: This program is tailored to provide career assessment, preparation of collateral materials (resumes, model letters and/or brochures), databases of companies and recruiters, and coaching through the steps into a new position.
Entrepreneurial Counseling: Individuals who are interested in becoming an entrepreneur will receive assessment and support. Counseling is tailored to the individual’s needs.
Mid-Career Development Program: Meetings take place individually with the candidate, providing counseling, resume support, job leads and networking contacts.
Workshops
Two-day workshop: This workshop is directed at supervisors and administrative staff and covers the essentials of job-search: assessment, goal setting, resume writing, market review ,networking, and interviewing. All of this is done within the goals of getting an action plan together and implementing it. Ongoing follow up coaching is available.
One-day workshop: An overview of the strategies and materials needed for a complete job search. Included is information on resume writing, applications, networking, replying to advertised opportunities, and interviewing techniques. Follow-up coaching is available.
Pre-retirement Workshop: Assistance is given to those considering retirement with an eye toward planning. This program is customized and offered as a one or two day program. Issues discussed include financial considerations, possible career changes, volunteer ism, and other relationship issues.
Customized Counseling: A program for those who have special needs. May include the Career Discovery program and ongoing coaching.
Executive Coaching: While leadership issues are the key to this service, other important aspects of an executive’s success are also included such as succession planning, familiarizing oneself with corporate culture and balancing home and work-life. Additional issues that are dealt with could include performance, interpersonal relations, attitude, and skills deficit.
