ABOUT SIMONA

Simona Cherlin,M.S., LCSW  is a career counselor and job search coach for those in transition.
She has been offering Executive Coaching, Employee Training, and Career Consulting since 1978.  Her focus throughout that time has been career management & job search.  Simona has worked as a training facilitator and executive coach for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) for the past ten years.  She has also provided outplacement services for Drake Beam Morin, Right Management, and the Departments of Social Services and Department of Health Services in San Diego.
 
Simona has taught at a number of colleges and universities including   U.C.S.D., S.D.S.U., Mesa College, City College, Miramar Community College, National University and Chapman College.  She was involved in the H.R. Certificate program at S.D.S.U., teaching a career development course. She specializes in the Job Search process and has assisted clients who are military retirees and spouses, recently graduated students starting their careers, mid-life changers who either by their choice, or no choice of their own, have faced career transition, and executives looking for the next rung.
  
Recently, Simona has been offering training and counseling in the area of career development for professionals at U.C.S.D., Kaiser Permanente, and for Military Veterans.

In addition, she has taught career and personal development courses and she currently serves on the adjunct faculties of U.C.S.D. and the Center for Creative Leadership. She is also the managing consultant for Get Career In Gear, a leadership and career development firm.
